

Kennett O. Durling, 61, of St. Augustine, Florida passed away on January 8th. Ken was born on July 18, 1949 in Ithaca, NY to Ethelyn and Ralph Durling. Ken was a proud member of the U.S. Marine Corps and left with an Honorable Discharge after serving his country in the Vietnam War. He moved to Jacksonville in 1979 as a major department store manager. Ken worked in the auto industry for over 30 years and recently retired from Nimnicht Pontiac GMC. He was preceded by his sisters Mamie Blinn and Mary. He is survived by his wife Mary Ellen, two daughters Kimberlee Lego (David) and Ann Marie Luft (Jacob), and 4 grandchildren Matthew, Elizabeth, Hannah and Catalina, his parents Ethelyn Durling and Ralph Durling, stepmother Francis Durling, and his sister Linda Scott and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, January 14th in the Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
