Kenneth Dwyne Hadden, 63, of Jacksonville, FL went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday May 23, 2023, from Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville, Fl. We were all witness to his indominable spirit and zest for life.
Kenneth was born on July 21, 1959, to the late Garven Weldon Hadden Sr. and Thelma Mae Braxton Hadden in Jersey City, New Jersey. Kenneth earned an Associates Degree in 1983 from Ramapo College of New Jersey. He married Gail Tanya Presley in 1993 and from this union, two children were born. Kenneth relocated to Jacksonville, FL in 1998 with his wife and children.
He found his employment niche as a Manager for several cellular companies: Metro PCS, Cingular Wireless, AT&T Wireless Services, Primeco Personal Communications, Sprint P.C.S., and Bell Atlantic Nynex Mobile. Kenneth also worked for Dun & Bradstreet Information Resource as a Business Analyst.
In life, Kenneth was passionate about basketball and was a competitive player on high school and college teams. In later years, he continued to pursue basketball and even coached both Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball at First Coast Christian School. Kenneth volunteered his time and resources for various sports and events. He coached summer basketball camp, read to children in classrooms, and was a business partner with schools. Kenneth loved vacations and spending time with his family. He enjoyed watching sports and sports commentary, with his favorite team being the Boston Celtics. Kenneth’s favorite musician was Sting; however, he appreciated all genres of music. He enjoyed watching the daily news, old westerns, and crime dramas.
Kenneth was a Christian and sincerely believed in the Lord Jesus Christ. He was a member of First Coast Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Fl.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Gail Tanya Hadden, daughter, Christina Chanelle Hadden, son, Kenneth Dewayne Hadden, and granddaughter, Anastasia Abigail Hadden. He leaves three sisters, Barbara JoAnn Freeman, Janet Marie Jones, Fannie Belinda Hadden, one brother, Garven Weldon Hadden Jr., aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends. Kenneth was predeceased by his father, Garven Weldon Hadden Sr., his mother, Thelma Mae Braxton Hadden, his nephew, David Jones, and his nieces, Tenesha Freeman, and Rakiya Hadden.

A visitation for Kenneth will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A graveside service will occur Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
