Kenneth Wayne Cason (Jim/BoBo), 65, went to be with our Lord and Savior on March 14, 2012, at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida following a short battle with lung cancer. Jim retired from the State of Florida in 2006. He leaves behind his “bride” of 21 years, Hilda Cason; two step-sons, Daryl Burnett and Billy Powell; three step-daughters, Teresa Peel, Cheryl Mock and Kathy Johnson; three brothers, Micky, Lee, and Larry Cason; two sisters, Ann Dennis and Shirley Smith; seven grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends who loved him dearly. He now joins his parents, Hansel Lee and Mamie Cason; his sister Joan Chavez and brother, Jerry Cason in Heaven. Jim enjoyed being at home with his dogs, Maggie Mae, Elvis, and Priscella, working in his backyard, and watching his western shows. Jim will be truly missed by all his loved ones. The family visitation to greet friends will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, 2:00pm, March 18, 2012 in the Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, officiating by Pastor Chuck Boldt. Burial will follow Funeral Service at Riverside Memorial Park of Jacksonville,FL.
