Kay Warren Johns

She was born in Jacksonville, FL, on December 28, 1940. Kay graduated from Andrew Jackson High School, in Jacksonville.

She was married to the late Robert D (Bobby) Johns on April 11, 1959, and they had celebrated their 60th Anniversary together before his passing in 2019.

Kay was one of the founding members of WestGate Church. She had a servant’s heart who loved her family well; a woman of faith who reflected Christ in hospitality and caring for the people of God with casseroles and cakes for any occasion.

Kay is survived by her sister Janet (Melvin) Still, as well as her 3 children; Kevin (Rhonda) Johns, Brett (Shirley) Johns, and Jennifer (Greg) Pittman. Kay and Bobby have 8 grandchildren; Jeremy (Erica), Robert, Emily (Jordan), Sydney (Stephen), Sarah, Morgan, Rylan and Ethan, as well as 3 great-grandchildren; Cullen, Callie and Warren.

Kay’s Home Going celebration will be Sunday, November 14, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. Services will be held at Faith Memorial Baptist Church, 6731 Ramona Blvd, Jacksonville, FL, 32205.
