Kathy Lee TOSKIN, age 63, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021 surrounded by her family, after a long fight with cancer. She was born in Montgomery, Alabama on July 24, 1958.
During her childhood, Kathy lived in the United Kingdom, Alaska, New Mexico and Pennsylvania. Kathy graduated in 1976 from Saint Maria Goretti High School in Philadelphia.
She married Sgt. Randal Toskin, USMC on April 11, 1981 in Philadelphia. Kathy fulfilled and enjoyed the challenges of being a Marine spouse for 16 years, earning her the title "Marine Wife Emeritus".
Kathy dedicated her life to raising her family and extending her love and compassion to half the kids in the neighborhood, all of them calling her mom. She also enjoyed knitting, reading her "junk" papers and practical jokes.
Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann; father, Gene; brothers, Robert M. (infant) and Gene Jr.; and her oldest daughter, Kristina Lee.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Randal, of 40 years; son, Robert (Kayla); daughter, Kelly (George); and 7 grandchildren, Holly, Jessica, Ethan, Connor, Phoenix, Jonathan and Alivia, all in the Jacksonville area;
her sister, Kelly (Rudy); brothers, Mario (Tiffany), and Marco (Marissa) of California, and John (Dawn) of Florida, and Mark (Cathy) of Pennsylvania; and a host of nieces, nephews, and her dog, Murphy.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 11am at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 17th at the Funeral Home from 5pm until 8pm. Burial will follow the funeral service at JAX National Cemetery at 1pm on Monday.
