Kathleen K. Vaughn

Kathleen K. Vaughn, 84, passed away on Wednesday, 7, November, 2012. She was born in Mayfield, Kentucky on September 18, 1928. She had worked at Old National Bank in Evansville, Indiana before moving to Jacksonville where she worked for the formerly First Union Bank. Mrs. Vaughn was an avid card and bingo player and she enjoyed watching the game shows on television. She was a loving wife to her husband, Frank C. Vaughn who preceded her in death. She was devoted to her children and she is survived by her son Barry Vaughn (Patti), daughters Barbara Green, Patti Van Wey (Jack), Terry Bash (David), Robin Cole (Chuck), six grandchildren Eric, Kevin, Traci, Ryan, Jennifer, JB, and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from six o’clock till eight o’clock in the evening at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at ten o’clock in the morning on Saturday, November 10, 2012 in The Oaklawn Chapel. , The family suggests memorial contributions be made in her memory to: Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Rd, Jacksonville 32257 or to the Taylor Foundation, 6601 Chester Ave., Jacksonville 32217.
