June Kea Reagan, 86, went home to be with her Lord on May 13, 2011. June was born March 19, 1925 in Adrian, GA to Nelson and Mattie Kea. She moved to Jacksonville during World War II, where she met and married Ralph Reagan. She worked as a Teacher’s Aide for the Duval County Schoolboard for 18 years. June was a devoted Christian mother and an awesome woman. She was a longtime member of Kernan Blvd. Baptist Church. In 1977, June was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Ralph Reagan and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her loving children, Ronald Reagan (Gail), Charlotte Kerns (Patrick), John Reagan (Susan), Nelson Reagan (Barbara), Penny Carlberg (Daniel), Rodney Reagan, and Thomas Reagan, all of Jacksonville, FL; 19 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister Laverne Callan (Leo); brother Robert Kea (Lucille) of Soperton, GA; sister Katherine Thompson (Roy) of Scott, GA; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday, May 19 at Greenlawn Chapel, 4300 Beach Blvd. A celebration of June’s life will be held 11am Friday, May 20 at Kernan Blvd. Baptist Church, 4000 Kernan Blvd. S. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kernan Blvd. Baptist Church or Community Hospice of NE Florida. Arrangements by Greenlawn Funeral Home.
