He graduated from Baker County High School and also attended the Westside Skills Center for diesel training. Judson won an award for his skills as a diesel mechanic. He had a career as a diesel mechanic and finished his hands-on training with his step-father, Richard Zippered. He loved working on semi-trucks.
Judson belonged to NBHA (National Barrel Horse Association). He loved riding horses, his 2 feral cats and Florida football, “GO GATORS”. He loved the Lord, was a very generous person, and was ready to help someone in need, helping repair their diesel trucks or helping at horse shows.
He is survived by his son, Judson H. Woolard, III; the mother of his son, Marsee Winstead; mother, Brenda Davis Woolard; step-father, Richard E. Zipperer; brother, Ronnie A. Kirkland; sisters, Cindy L Kirkland Taylor and Tina R. Woolard Homitz; uncle, Earl Woolard; also, numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
Preceded in death by father, Judson “Buck” H. Woolard, Sr.; aunts, Doris Woolard Hodges and Margie Lumpkin; grandparents, Margie and Horace Woolard; and grandmother, Florence Davis.
A graveside service for Judson will be held Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
