Judith Allen Jones

She is survived by her husband Walter L. Jones, daughters Jennifer Ross (Karl) and Katherine Hubbard(Brian), grandson Ethan Hubbard, granddaughter Sarah Ross, grandson Parker Hubbard. She is also survived by sister-in-law Maxine Allen of Lincoln,CA and Margaret Moody of Fairbanks,AK and brother and sister-in-law Terry and Phyliss Jones of Jacksonville, FL.

She was predeceased by her parents Joe and Sarah Allen of Waycross, GA and Brothers Joe Allen of Ventura, CA and Charles Allen of Bass Lake, CA.

Judi was born June 18, 1945 in Waycross, GA and moved to Jacksonville as a teenager. She was a 1963 graduate of Nathan B. Forrest High School. She worked for Prudential Ins. Co. before she and her husband started their own insurance business, North Florida Insurance.

She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, Yia Yia and friend. Judi was a long time member of First Baptist Church and a dedicated worker in the Children's Ministry.

The Family will receive friends at the Oaklawn Cementary Chapel on Wednesday October 19th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

Funeral Services will be Held Thursday October 20th at 10:00am at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Ave. with Dr. Terry Gore officiating.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Louis Akra and his staff, Dr. Jeff Harris and his staff, and Community Hospice-Sunbeam Road for their extraordinary care.
