Judith Lee Bennett (Judy), 74, passed away on October 01, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. Judy was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1953. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Mildred Troxell, her brother David and her husband of 55 years, Ernest E. Bennett, Jr. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Connie Bennett and Holly Williams (John) and two loving grand-dogs, Sam and Bull. She is also survived by her sisters Carol Vanover, Shirley Hopkins, Janet Fay (Richard-dec’d), Sandy Gargano (Joe), Linda Webb (Danny) and Cindy Colyer, her brothers Harvey Troxell (Peggy) and Ronald Troxell (Linda), as well as two generations of nieces and nephews.
Judy was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed sewing, collecting stamps and solving puzzles. She enjoyed being outdoors, working in the yard and gardening. But most of all being a devoted wife and mother to her two daughters.
