Juanita Iris Rood, 86, of Port Charlotte FL, was born in Jacksonville on May 7, 1929 and passed away on August 22, 2015. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 29 at Town and Country Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow the funeral at Riverside Memorial Park. Iris is survived by her daughter Karen Totten (Tom), sisters Blanche Phillips and Jean Hubbard, grandson James Rood (MJ), granddaughter Tracy Hendrix (Jason), and four and one half great grandchildren. Iris is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford and her son, Robert.
