Peggy "Joyce" Wynn, born July 19, 1937, in Miami, Florida, and lived her life in Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on November 14, 2024, in Community Hospice, Jacksonville, Florida. A celebration service will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 with visitation from 10:30 to 11:00 and the service from 11:00 - 12:00 at the Hardage Giddens Greenlawn Cemetery & Chapel, 4300 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida.
Until the end, Joyce Wynn remained a faithful servant of the church and to her belief in our Lord Jesus Christ. Joyce had the most precious caring and loving heart and she found true joy in the words of her favorite Southern Gospel songs. Joyce will be greatly missed not only by her family but by the countless number of lives she touched along the way.
Joyce Wynn is predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Bert Wynn; son James "Jim" Wynn; mother Lela Olive Kelley; father Comer Kelley.
Joyce Wynn is survived by her daughters Susan Jackson (Barry), Robin Axtell; Grandchildren Eric & Jeremy Jackson, PJ Axtell, Michelle Rogers; sisters Betty Jean Baacke and Louise Chitty; as well as several nieces and nephews.
