Joyce Ann Eatman, 91, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully August 7, 2020 in Orange Park, Florida. She was born on December 31, 1928 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Flonie and Randall Hunt. She grew up in Jacksonville and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. On June 18, 1949 she married William Eatman of Jacksonville, Florida. They were married for 54 years until his death on July 28, 2003.
Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a faithful member of Murray Hill United Methodist Church where she was active in the ladies ministry and sang in the senior adult choir. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her brother, Rev, John R. Hunt. She is survived by her daughter Diane Keuning and son-in-law Robert Keuning of Fleming Island, Florida, two grandchildren, Kristen Rountree and Scott Keuning, six great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law, Alice Hunt, and several nieces and a nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, August 14, 2020 at the Church at Argyle, 6823 Argyle Forest Blvd., with Rev. Rick Painter officiating. A graveside service for family only will follow at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Community Hospice of NE Florida.
