Joshua Tyler Lewis was born on December 17, 1998 in Nashville, Tennessee. Joshua departed this life on June 13, 2016 at the age of 17. He was loving, funny, humble and most of all a respectful young man.
He was the son of Wanda Lewis Johnson and John Amos. He attended Westside High School and Trinity Christian Academy where he was inducted into the National Honor Society. He had a passion for sports especially football and wrestling. He had recently taken an interest in skateboarding.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Wanda Lewis-Johnson; his father, John Amos; granduncle: James Brown; his uncles: John Lewis, Armond Lewis and Ronald Lewis; grandaunts: Josephine White and Annette Surrency; his aunts, Jeanette Lewis (deceased), Michelle Shorter, Elaine Smithson, Patricia Lewis, Diane Lewis (deceased), Valareese Lewis and Cynthia Beverly; godmother: Gloria Thomas; mentor: Gary Lewis and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Christina Lewis.
