Kentucky to Thad and Sarah Johnson. He grew up in Bonnieville, Ky
with his younger sisters Rachel and Laura. Joshua was in the band in
high school along with his sisters. Joshua has always enjoyed the
outdoors and learning survival skills. He attended the family camping
trip that happened in November as much as he could. Joshua joined the
US Navy at the age of 19. He became an AE in the Navy and was
designated to The Iwo Jima where he was stationed for 5 years. He
started that journey in Norfolk, VA and ended up in Jacksonville, FL
when the ship did a port change. After his time on the ship, he was
stationed in Lemoore, CA where he stayed for 2 years before deciding
to cross rate and become a HM. Joshua was then stationed back in
Jacksonville, FL at Mayport Naval Station. In the last year, Joshua
had moved to NAS Jacksonville Naval hospital. The sun set on Joshua's
life on October 20, 2020. He is survived by his wife Amanda-Renee,
daughter Rylan, Son William, son Sasser, grandmother Eugenia, parents
Thad and Sarah and his sisters Rachel and Laura and nieces Lettie and
Laylin.
