Josephine Corbett, 75, entered into eternal peace on August 7, 2014 in Saint John’s Florida. Josephine was born on September 15, 1938 in Yonkers, NY, a daughter of the late Frank and Anna Dellacamera. She was a graduate of Commerce High School in Yonkers, NY. She worked at Otis Elevator Company upon graduation. She was predeceased by her hard working husband, Edward Joseph Corbett, her loving daughter Susan Ann Corbett, her beloved sister Angela Sullivan and beloved brother Frank Dellacamera as well as her loving parents. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her loving son Kevin Joseph Corbett and his loving wife Miryam Corbett whom Josephine adored and whom took loving care of her while Josephine lived with the family. Josephine’s cherished grandchildren, Kevin-Brandon Joseph Corbett, Kyle Jesse Corbett and Kayli Jane Corbett were fortunate to have their grandmother live with them for over a year prior to her passing. Josephine was always there for them and loved them dearly. Josephine is also survived by her sister in law Mary Ann Dellacamera, brother in law James Sullivan, Cousins JosephineSassone and Marie Harrington and many nieces and nephews as well as her dear friend Helen Arnold. Josephine moved to Florida in 2004 to be closer to her grandchildren. Josephine enjoyed travelling and especially her trip to Bermuda. She loved movies and television with her favorite shows being Perry Mason, Law & Order SVU, Castleand her favorite Judge Judy. She enjoyed walking and going to the beach. She was a big Yankees fan and her favorite player was Derek Jeter. She was a great mother and person. We will miss her!! At her request, there will only be a private service at the cemetery.
