Joseph Kelly Jr., a resident of 145 W. 10th Street slipped into eternal rest on Thursday December 6, 2012 with family by his bedside. Joseph was a retired employee of United States Gypsum Co. 38 years of service. Joseph is survived by 3 sons, Joseph 3rd, Tyrone L. Kelly and Christopher L. Dixon; daughter, Stephanie Mitchell (Pernell); 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister; Hendola D. Sutton; Rita Brown loving longtime companion for over 30 years. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2012 Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home 729 South Edgewood Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Pastor Alfred D. Cotton officiating. Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery. Remains will rest at the Hardage-Guiddens Edgewood Chapel funeral home for visitation of friends on Friday, December 14, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and in the chapel before the hour of service.
