Joseph Peter Fowler has passed and now he is with the Lord. He died Monday morning, January 27, 2020 in Jacksonville Fla.
Joe proudly served his country for 21 years in the U.S. Navy, after which he again served the country in civilian capacity for 22 more years working for the Naval Aviation Depot at NAS Jacksonville Fla. Joe achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in business thanks to his service. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association and the American Legion. Last but not least he was a champion fisherman, salt or freshwater.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie, father Frank, mother Viola, and his three sisters Lil, Helen, and Mary, two grand children Eric Joseph Fowler and Gordon Christopher Fowler. He received exemplary critical care for his last six months of life at Jacksonville Nursing and Rehabilitation. May God bless him.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 1-2 PM at Hardage and Giddens Funeral Home 7242 Normandy Blvd followed by burial in Jacksonville Memory Gardens 111 Blanding Blvd at 2:30 PM.
