Joseph "Pete" Harold Arnold

Pete was born in Baxley, Georgia. He graduated from Naples High School where he was a member of the JROTC. He was a master of all trades from installing windows, writing mortgages, cooking, and EMT. Since he retired, he has been a full-time Papa to his four little best friends who he loved dearly and spent every day with. He never missed his Georgia Bulldogs playing football. His hobbies included fishing with his grandson, working in his garden, making delicious meals, and his Sunday trips to the golf course with his best bud Rusty and friends. He enjoyed relaxing on his back porch with a good cigar in hand watching his grandkids play and scratching lottery tickets. He was an avid cruiser making every vacation count.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents Patrick “Boozer” Henry Arnold and Johnnie Ruth Ussery, his brother James “Tootsie” Arnold; his sister Diane Cornwall; his nephew Robbie Cornwall; and niece Shelly White.

He is survived by his loving wife Dee Arnold of 39 years; his daughter Jessica Arnold, his daughter Andrea (Brandon Tucker); his four grandkids who were his best friends Nicholas Arnold, Bryson, Avery, and Ella Tucker; Mother-in-law Maureen Fahy; Brother-in-law Dean (Terri) Fahy; Aunt Shirley in England; Sisters Jeanette Hutcheson, Sharon Stone, and Kim Ussery; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation for Joseph will be held Sunday, September 24, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
