John Duane Wester Jr., 66, passed away Friday, January 31, 2014 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born February 6, 1947 to John and Virginia Wester Sr. in Jacksonville, FL. John loved to eat all varieties of food, especially eclairs and creamed corn; as well as vacations and he especially loved Disney World. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sandra, one son Daniel Cameron, two daughters Linda Pilkinton, Diana (Vincent) Harelson, one brother David Wester, one sister Dee Dee (Joel) Jones, seven grandchildren Daniel, John Dean (Chrissy), Aaron, Rebekah, Lance, Luke, Lydia, two great-grandchildren Cameron, Junior, three nieces Christina, Barbie, Cozette and one nephew Vinton. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A visitation for family and friends will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 6:00-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 2:00pm in the chapel with interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
