John R. Scherer III, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 19, 1930. John served as an officer in the United States Marine Corp and lived in Jacksonville, FL for the past 40 years working for Austill Packaging and Brand Label.
He leaves behind his wife, Ann, whom he was married to for 62 years; his three daughters, Terry Kirkland Cook (Larry), Barbara Andrews (David), and Jennifer Swiatek (Marc); and five grandchildren, Joshua Swiatek, Chelsea McKendree, Rebecca Swiatek, Caitlyn Andrews, and Cody Cook.
