John M Peterson

On Thursday, October 17, 2013, John M. Peterson went to his eternal rest. John was an Auxiliary Police Officer from 1977-1983 for JSO. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid horticulturist. John had several different employment experiences such as supervisor for Pic-N-Save, the Little Champ Food Stores, Fact-O-Bake Auto Paint and Body, and the Head Grounds Keeper for the Plantation at Sawgrass.

John was married to Diane Moody for 58 years, who passed away in June of this year. John and Diane had three children, Victor who died in 1975, Deborah Jeanne and Cherie Jennine. John is survived by his daughters, 2 grandsons and 5 great grandchildren, his brother, Kenneth and sister, Rebecca Hudson.

Memorial Services will be held at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 3976 Hendricks Ave., Tuesday, October 22, at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Research Fund.
