John Peter Nasir

John is survived by his loving wife of 28 years Donna Doty; two sons Chris Howard, David Morgan; two daughters Betty Smith, Kristine Strickland; brother at heart and lifelong friend Bill Brotherton; five grandchildren George Strickland, Jr., Brandon Morgan, Jenny Morgan, Alora Smith, Ivy Smith; one great-grandson Nathan James Barr, and faithful loving companion Blackie.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 15, 2013 from five o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at one o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at The Oaklawn Chapel. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the First Christian Church, 11924 San Jose Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32223.
