LAVELLE-John (Jack) Michael Lavelle, 69, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2007. John was born on September 6, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Madeline and John Lavelle. John is survived by Nancy (Pellicer) his loving and devoted wife of 43 years; sons Sean and Christopher (Michele); grandson, Chase, granddaughter, Kaitlyn and his sister, Dolly Faust. John graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1960 and served aboard the USS Enterprise.The family will receive friends at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. from 5:00-7:00 pm Sunday September 30, 2007 with a Vigil service at 7:00 pm. John was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Ft. Caroline Road where a funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Monday, October 1st. Interment will follow in San Lorenzo Cemetery in St. Augustine. Flowers will be accepted however memorials may be made to Community Hospice of N.E. Florida or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P. O. Box 1000 Dept. 300, Memphis TN 38148-0552.
