John B. Jordan, 75, of Jacksonville, died Sunday after a long illness.
John married Beverly King in 1957. The couple celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in December.
John is survived by his wife and two children, Brad Jordan and Lynn Snyder, three grandchildren, Sarah, Abigail and Rachel as well as one great-grandchild, Savannah, all of Jacksonville.
He was born to the late Julian and Sarah Jordan, Nov. 8, 1937, in Pelham, Ga. John received a BS in Mathematics from Florida State University in 1963. John worked in several technical and analytic jobs early in his career and was a partner/owner in several business ventures prior to his retirement in 2001.
