John Johnson, age 74, passed away May 1, 2017. Johnny was born on July 24, 1942 in Jacksonville to James and Wilma Johnson. He was a member of Harvest Ministries Church and loved his Lord and Savior. Johnny loved antiques and had a love for animals. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
John is survived by his loving wife of almost 38 years, Kathleen; one son, Donald Johnson (Tammy); one daughter, Wilma Cook (Rodney); four grandchildren Russell Russo, Jonathan Johnson, Elaine Johnson, and Ashton Tutton; and two sisters, Cherrie Wingate and Doris Peavy.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 2:30pm at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
