Joann Marie Filopanti

Joann "Jo Jo" Marie Filopanti, 60, passed away from Diabetes complications on November 9, 2019 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born to Betty Jo and Herbert Ellis on April 8, 1959 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Joann graduated from Pottstown Senior high school. After working many jobs, she later in life became a Certified Nursing Assistant. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husbands Ronald Eugene Zipay and James “Jimmy” Anthony Filopanti . Her previous husband Chester W. Farrington Jr. survives her. She also leaves behind her children: Chester "Chet" W. Farrington III (Karina), Mark Wayne Farrington (Roxi), Erik Lee Zipay (Jacqui), Ronald Joseph Zipay, and Ryan Lee Zipay (Shannon), grandchildren: Aiden, Erik & Chet Farrington 4th , Mark 2nd & Kirsty Farrington, Pepper, Poppy & Rocco Zipay, Aiyanna & Silas Zipay, Adelyn, Declan Zipay & Izzie Meacham. She also leaves behind her brother, Herbert Clark Ellis Jr., and sisters Susan Jane Ellis and Sandra Lee Ellis. Her family will be having a Celebration of Joann's life on Saturday 16 Nov. 2019 at 12 noon at the Pottstown LDS Chapel, 93 Maugers Mill Road, POTTSTOWN, Pennsylvania 19464. They would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this time.
