My dearest mum, my mentor, my best friend. We have many wonderful memories. Like me we both loved to garden and do puzzles. We worked together to save money in order to immigrate to the USA to be with my two sisters who had moved here earlier. What a huge hole you will leave in my heart and in our family. Just the thought that I can no longer pick up the phone and hear your sweet voice breaks my heart. BUT knowing that you are at peace in the arms of Jesus and no longer in pain is what makes it bareable. RIP my dear mother. Love you forever. Carole.

My dearest sister, Joan.  What a lovely loving and thoughtful  sister she was to me.  I will miss her very much.  Although we did not live near each other while living in the States, we did have vacations together, in Florida, along with husband Brian.  They attended my daughter Jody's wedding (husband John) in Wisconsin on September 6, 1980.

Joan and Brian were a handsome couple.  Brian was gifted in playing the piano ... no lessons!  I can see how Joan fell in love with him.  In England, on a Saturday night, the family would meet up in the local pub (it was the going thing in those days) and Brian would be playing the piano with his shoulders bouncing along with the  rhythm of the music   He also played the accordion. Very gifted!

My mother was, and always will be my best friend, we did everything together vacations, shopping, you name it. Saturday evenings mom and dad would come over and we'd play cards till the early hours of the morning sometimes. Almost every Sunday afternoon dad and mom would come have dinner with us. We laughed, cried, and shared many wonderful times together.  I can't grasp the thought of her not being here with me but knowing she is now pain free and resting in peace with our Heavenly Father makes it less painful. I loved her dearly and she will always be in my thoughts.  Rest high above that mountain my dear mom!

Nana, we are so sorry we can’t be there but we know your with loved ones who passed before and were waiting for you to join.  You will live in our hearts forever. Rest In Peace Nana. We love you and you will never be forgotten. 

I will always remember my summer vacations with Nana and Grandad. Nana and I would walk or ride bikes every evening, and just talk. She would tell me all about the war and her childhood. I loved listening to her stories, watching her garden in the back yard, doing her pool aerobics, and of course sewing! Spending the summer in Jacksonville with them was the highlight of my Summers!! 

 I think I get my sock addiction from her, we both love new socks!!! 

She was an amazing Nana and the backbone to our family! She taught us what family value  is all about!  I will always treasure the memories we made!! I love you forever!
