Jerry Holt

Jerry Richard Holt passed away at Community Hospice Mandarin on December 19, 2015, in Jacksonville, FL at the age of 71. Jerry is survived by his wife, Judy Patterson Holt of Jacksonville. He is preceded in death by his parents of Dallas, TX. He has five children, Jerry Jr. (Diana), Tommy (April), Sherry, Justin, Brandon (Christina), and Jennifer Weatherholtz (stepdaughter). Jerry was born on March 1, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan and grew up in Dallas, TX. After high school, he joined the US Air Force and was stationed in Thule, Greenland. He had a long career in the grocery business. He was with Albertson’s for 34 years, then with Fresh Market for almost 10 years. Jerry was much loved by everyone lucky enough to know him, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29th in Hardage- Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
