Jeffrey Philip Wolfe passed away March 1st, 2016 to be with the Lord. He is survived by his parents, Frank A. Wolfe Jr. and Mary Leann Wolfe; his brother, Ryan Wolfe; sister-in-law, Lauren Wolfe; and his beloved nephew, Owen Wolfe. He was born April 20th, 1982 in Moundsville, West Virginia. Jeff left us here on this earth where, for the rest of our lives, we will miss him dearly. Words cannot describe how much we miss him already. He loved sports, especially his West Virginia Mountaineers. Jeff loved the Lord and was always quick to protect the ones he loved. His strength can be explained in Philippians 4:6-7 “I can do all things in Him who strengthens me”. Also, Jeff always volunteered to help others. Which is why Isaiah 6.8 was most fitting for him, “And I heard the Lord saying, whom shall I send, who will go for us? Then (Jeff would say) I said: Here I am! Send me”.
Jeff’s life was filled with fun and love. He loved hunting, fishing, and sports. He also loved movies and could quote any movie that you asked him to. You could’ve caught him having a pizza party on any given day. He had a smile that could light up a room and a personality to match. Jeff enjoyed livin…L-I-V-I-N…livin. Anything he wanted he got and he would tell you he “got that”. He would always do anything he wanted and would tell you that he “did that”.
As a child, there were many words to describe Jeff, but the best one is ornery. He was such a handsome child and he was a handsome man too…just ask him. He couldn’t sing at all even though he would sing any chance he got. Jeff always did everything way before kids his age, so that he could be around his older brother. He even potty-trained himself just to try to go to kindergarten with his older brother. As a child, he was always into everything and would always do things, even if you recommended him not to. He was involved in sports and was competitive, even at a young age.
Jeff grew up in Moundsville, West Virginia and graduated from West Virginia University. As a young adult, he had a great group of friends that has stayed tight through the years. He was sharp, very intelligent, and received great grades. He was involved in sports in high school and his shining moment was in a track event. He ran in the finals in the 100 yard dash against two future NFL players. He finished third behind them by at least 10 yards, regardless of what Jeff told you. Jeff spent most of his adult life in Jacksonville, Florida and made some of the best friends he could’ve ever asked for. He was very successful and was one of the top executives in the Jacksonville area. Jeff was always the life of the party and was also one of the wittiest people. You could carry on a whole conversation with him and when you were done he would look at you and say, “You've been talking to me the whole time?”. He was very protective of the ones he loved and anyone that threatened them would get to hear, “I’m your Huckleberry”. Jeff would do anything for anyone and would always put others before him. He was the most considerate person you could ever meet. Jeff loved fast cars, beautiful women, and flashy things. That’s how he earned the name “Diamond Jim”. He lived by the phrase: Work hard, live hard, and play hard. Well, the night is over and it’s last call boys, so here we go. He is all yours now; so God, have you met my buddy Jeff?
