Jeffrey Dean Dunn

Jeffrey “JD” Dunn, age 66, passed away in Jacksonville, FL on April 29, 2023. He was born in Jacksonville, FL on May 17, 1956 to Samuel Owen Dunn and Marjorie Christine Dunn. He graduated from Paxon High School and after high school, he joined the United States Coast Guard from 1974 to 1978 where he became a pistol sharp shooter. He also married Donna Bellamy Dunn on August 15, 1974.

He worked as a US Coast Guard Search and Rescue and spent 40 years working for U-Haul Co. For recreation, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and cruising.

JD is survived by his wife, Donna Bellamy Dunn; son, Joshua Dunn; daughter-in-law, Bailey Dunn; grandson, Jace Dunn; granddaughter, Jasmine Dunn; granddaughter, Emilie Dunn; grandson, Christian Dunn; brother, Walter Dunn and wife Bonnie; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ricky and Samanthia Maylon; sister-in-law, Barbar Rogers; mother-in-law, Edith; father-in-law, Jack,and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by son, Jeffrey Dunn, Jr.; parents, Samuel Owen and Marjorie Christine Dunn; sister, Christine Dunn and aunt, Eva Hall.

A graveside service for Jeffrey will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
