Born May 10, 1965 — Home with the Lord April 7, 2025
Lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida
A loving brother, uncle, cousin, and devoted Christ-follower, Jeff Prince was truly one of God’s special people. Though some may have seen him as handicapped or disabled, those who truly knew Jeff understood that he was anything but. He loved with a full heart and saw only the best in people. His laughter was contagious, his joy was sincere, and his heart was pure.
Jeff was an old soul with a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures—Wendy’s hamburgers, good books, warm hugs, and his favorite TV shows like The Price is Right and Gunsmoke. He treasured consistency and found great comfort in routine. Every day, without fail, he would call a few close family and friends at the exact same time, just to tell them he loved them.
A faithful member of Southpoint Baptist Church, Jeff was a steady and joyful presence to all who worshipped alongside him, especially his fellow choir members. He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Paul and Drema Prince, and his brother, Ray Prince. He is survived by his brother John Prince (Julie), and a host of extended family and dear friends who loved him deeply.
Jeff is now fully healed and joyfully reunited in Heaven with loved ones who went before him—especially his cherished mother, whom he missed dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Southpoint Baptist Church, 3335 Tiger Hole Road, Jacksonville, Florida, on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jeff’s honor to The Gideons International.
