Jeff, the son of Ann and Phil Cormier, was born in Jacksonville, FL where he lived his entire life close to family and friends. He graduated high school from Bishop Kinney and started his successful career in Information Technology. He very much enjoyed working for Maximus as an IT Manager. Indeed, he was very proud of his team there and was sure to recognize the team and the individuals.
Jeff loved being outdoors - 4Wheeling, jet skiing, roller blading, off the grid tent camping and scuba diving. His idea of a great vacation was to point his car in a general direction and drive the backroads. Jeff never failed to call his mother and/or father each and every day.
Jeff is survived by his proud parents Ann and Phil Cormier, his sister Carrie and Shane Miller, and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins all of which he called friends. Jeff is also survived by his two nieces, Tiffany and Ashley Miller. Jeff had a special relationship with them and would often send them special treats such as ice cream when they had good days at school. Sometimes for no reason at all.
Jeff was proceeded in death by his grandparents Nana and Poppy Cormier and Nana and Grandpa Miehl. He is also proceeded by his beloved dog, Peyton.
Jeff’s celebration of life will be held July 23rd at 2:00 at the Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd. No need to dress up as I’m sure Jeff would want everyone comfortable.
In lieu of flowers, might we suggest a donation to Arc Jacksonville in Tiffany and Ashley Miller names as they advocate for individuals with special needs.
A memorial service for Jeffery will be held Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.hgriversidefuneralhome.com for the Cormier family.
