Jeanne Garrison Dunlap

Jeanne Dunlap, born on August 12, 1944, passed away on September 17, 2024, at 11:50 AM, leaving behind a void in the hearts of her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Jesse Dunlap, and together they built a life filled with love, togetherness, and countless cherished moments.

Jeanne was the devoted mother of Steven Dunlap, Scott Dunlap, and Catherine Swingle, each of whom will forever carry her spirit with them. Her love extended to her grandchildren: Jessalyn Taylor, Alex Dunlap, Andrew Dunlap, Emily Dunlap, Jack Swingle, Ben Swingle, Audrey Swingle and Great-grandchildren, Penelope Taylor and Keon Taylor.

Jeanne was strong and warm, offering lots of meaningful advice and a comforting embrace to those she loved. She was a loving and loyal mother, always there for her children with an adventurous spirit and a joyful heart, bringing fun and excitement to every moment shared with her family. Her wisdom, kindness, and selflessness touched everyone who knew her, leaving a legacy of love.

The loss of Jeanne cannot be measured, but her family takes solace in knowing that she is now reunited with her beloved Jesse. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her, in the stories shared, and in the lives she touched.

She will be missed, but never forgotten.

A visitation for Jeanne will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223, with a funeral service T 11:00 AM. We will go in procession to Mandarin Cemetery for the burial. Please join the family for a reception back at the funeral home, after the burial.
