Jean Ann Egyed

Jean Ann Egyed age 80 of Jacksonville, Florida passed away June 29, 2013. She was born on July 17, 1932 in Findlay, Ohio. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Edward Joseph Egyed. Jean and her husband Edward owned Canteen of Jacksonville for 32 years.

Jean worked and made contributions to several charities, including Catholic Charities, throughout her life. She was a very compassionate and a giving Christian. She was surrounded by her children at the time of her passing.

Jean is survived by her children; Cynthia (Kamal) Behnam, Danny E. (Gwen) Egyed, and Elizabeth Egyed. She is also survived by her sister, Jill Engel, 5 grandsons: Matthew Behnam, Danny Egyed, Michael Egyed, Joshua Egyed, and Travis Egyed, and 4 great grandchildren: Elijah Taylor, Nella Egyed, and Lillian Clere.

Viewing will be held July 2, 2013 at San Jose Catholic Church located at 3619 Toledo Rd., Jacksonville, Florida 32217 from 6-8 p.m. Rosary at 7:00 p.m. by Father John. Funeral Services will be July 3, 2013 at San Jose Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m.
