Jean Carol Davis, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on July 31, 2015. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday August 5, 2015 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home. Dr. Watson Moody of Edgewood Heights Baptist Church will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 10:00 Am prior to the funeral Service. Burial will follow the funeral at Riverside Memorial Park at 12:00 PM. Jean was born in Waycross, GA on April 28, 1939. Jean was married to Gilbert Davis on October 3, 1954; they were married 60. Jean is survived by her two sons; Rickey Davis (Rita), Ronnie Davis (Trisha), 5 grandchildren; Michelle Vymetal, Misty Taylor, Clint Davis, Will Davis, Chad Davis, 6 great-grandchildren; Brook Homesley, Hailey Davis, Kailey Davis, Riley Davis, Daniel Taylor, Lucas Taylor. Jean is preceded in death by her parents Lizzie and Thomas Cell Capps, and her brother Ray Capps. The family of Jean Carol Davis wishes to thank Community Hospice.
