My heart goes out to each and every one of all of you in Janice's family. She loved you all so much. Ethan was born right before my grandson. We always compared and loved every minute of it! He was her heart! Then more came along and she was thrilled beyond belief. She was very proud of her kids and grandkids and had so much to live for. Sadly this was not meant to be. I wish you all happiness in memories and you are all in my prayers. I worked with Janice on the 25th floor at Bellsouth. God Bless you all.

janice was a true to life friend and always had a smile when working and talking with you.Janice was a true southern bell lady,and i will always remember my time spent working with her.Family, i am so sorry for your lost,Janice was taken to heaven by angles.

Frank, Francine, Jason & Micah: I didn't get to speak to you at the services today with the weather hindering some of the fellowship time. Janice will always be one of my favorite people. We had a closer kinship when we had our boys around the same time - Micah and James, we always had something to share with each other. Then when her sister married my brother we grew even closer. My prayers are with each of you during this most diffucult times. Everytime I think of Janice, I will have a smile on my face. God Bless each of you.

To all of Janice's family. My sympathy and prayers are with you. Janice and I played together when I lived across the street from the Rushing family many years ago. I was always over at their house. This saddens my heart for all of you. I remember her being such a warm, sweet person. I know you will truly miss her.

I am sorry to read about your loss of Janice.

Janice has always had a very special place in my heart. When I was young it was her and Mrs. T who took time away from their young families to come and visit me and invite me to church. That one visit meant so much to me. She always made me feel loved and special; and was genuinely interested in me and my life. This was her special gift.

Frank having known only you during our days at BellSouth and then getting to know Janice after the passing of many years was an opportunity for me to understand who you are and why you had so much success.  I didn’t know Janice very long but the time we did spend talking explained much.  I don’t think any of us can look back in our lives and careers without seeing how the mate we chose played such an important part.  You were blessed and supported by a wonderful mate.  Her dedication to you and to her family is a testimony that remains with you and your children.  I pray that your memories with her offer comfort along with knowing that you will see her again.

I spent many nights working with Janice in the BRC on the 4P-12M shift , and many of those times the two of us were the only ones at work together.

Throughout that time we learned from each other.  

I was truly a blessing to have known Janice and work with her.

My prayers are that you and your family finds strength from the Lord above during this difficult time.

Janice was a very kind and warm hearted person. I learned a lot from  working with her. She was a real people person and very dedicated to her job. Bellsouth and I were Blessed by Janice. She was a kind and generous friend who helped me back in 2006 before my wedding. God Bless all her family, may her love and memories be with you always.

hey janice....seems like forever and a day since we spoke last....but i know in my heart we will be able to set and talk  forever and a day sometime soon...your "favorite brother in law" Bill.

I thought for awhile of what to say, but i found this poem, and i think Aunt Janice would have loved it! I'm glad i got to spend time with her before she moved on.. Uncle Frank, Fran, Jason and Micah and Mom (Eileen),  i love you guys and i hope this lightens your hearts.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.

There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
