Janice Brown Lazzaro

Janice Brown Lazzaro, 89, passed away on Monday March 19th, 2018 in the care of Community Hospice and surrounded by her loved ones. Janice was born on February 18th, 1929 in Canton, Ohio to Clancy H. and Pearl M. Brown. She moved to Miami, Florida at age 18 where she worked at The Francine Company, a Health and Beauty Aid Distributer, where she eventually became the Senior VP of Operations and Purchasing. While living in Miami she met the love of her life and husband of 63 years, Charles A. Lazzaro. They retired to Saint Johns, Florida in 1985.

Jan was preceded in death by her husband Charles, her brother Clarence M. Brown, and her sister Marilyn J. Mahon. She is survived locally by her daughters Kathy and Karen, son-in-law Ken, grandson Kevin, and by numerous nieces and nephews in Ohio.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 22nd from 10:00 to 11:00am at Hardage-Giddens, The Oaklawn Chapel. Immediately following the visitation, there will be a graveside service at Oaklawn Cemetery at 4801 San Jose Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida.
