James Martin Sullivan Sr.

James graduated from Robert E Lee Highschool, then attended college at Jacksonville University where he received his Bachelors in Science. James then went on to join the United States Marine Corps. James and Frances were married on June 7, 1963. After serving as a Marine he retired from General Motors.

James enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, going to the movies, fishing, and growing plants in his garden.

James is survived by his sons, Joe Sullivan (Kathy), and Jim Sullivan; daughter, Mary Sullivan; and grandchildren, Kelly, Kim, Kyler and Brandon. He is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Frances Sullivan; Brothers, Jerry and John Sullivan; and parents, Joseph W. and Virgie K Sullivan.

A visitation for James will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 12:00 PM. A graveside service will occur Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Park.
