James E Smith

James Everett Smith of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on January 18, 2012 at the age of 73. He was born on March 7, 1938 in Parkersburg, WV.He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and then worked in furniture sales until his retirement.Mr. Smith is survived by his wife Betty Smith; 2 sons, Randy (Cherrie) Smith and Steve (Cheryl) Smith; 3 grandchildren, Tracie (Brian) Royer, Karen (Jason) Oswalt and Caleb Smith; 5 great-grandchildren, Payton and Logan Royer and Matthew, Leland and Bradley Oswalt and brother Gary Smith.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd N. with the graveside service to be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens. Donations may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, Jacksonville, FL.
