James “Jim” Pearce Jr., 70, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 in Fleming Island, FL. He was born January 2, 1946 to James and Bettie Pearce in Jacksonville, FL. Jim loved to watch Gunsmoke and Bonanza as well as spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his father James Pearce Sr. Jim is survived by his wife of 42 years Jennifer, his mother Bettie Pearce, sons Keith (Monica) Pearce, Kevin (Kate) Pearce, sister Mary (Robert) Jordan, grandchildren Bryan, Bryanna, Jack, Alex, Luke, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends as well as his four legged friend “Buddy”. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11am with interment following at Riverside Memorial Park.
