It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Andrew William McKinney on September 5, 2021. James was born in Glasgow, Scotland and was a proud Scotsman. He loved his family and his friends. James was in the field of maintenance and landscaping and an avid collector of memorabilia. For anyone who knew James, he was always on the hunt for the next treasure. He was funny, kind, loving and could make anyone laugh. James was also a world traveler and went on many trips visiting family and friends. He also had a big heart for animals. He was a wonderful person and we will truly miss him. He will forever be in our hearts and leaves us with many wonderful memories.
James was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby and his father, Andy. He is survived by his wife Judy, his dad Robert, brother Rob, sister Kimberley (Todd), and nephews Blake and Nolan. His Aunts Mary, May, Flora, Jean and Uncle Hughie; sisters in-law and brother in-law, many cousins and relatives around the world and his friends.
A Memorial Service for James will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 9, 2021, at
Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida.
In Lieu of Flowers, a remembrance in honor of James may be made to his favorite charity,
