Jeffrey Rogers James, Born October 10,1961 in Endicott, New York. Died September 13, 2024 in Jacksonville.
Jeff attended Terry Parker High School. He enlisted in the United States Army spending time in Germany, France and the Middle East. He enjoyed a career working under the hood of cars and trucks moving onto other ventures that caught his attention.
Jeff is survived by his parents George and Elizabeth James, two sisters Carol (Mark) Thurlow, Karen ( Adam) Uhlan, a special Aunt Joan Kossow. Aunts Susan Sherota and Sharon Stacey and a very special friend Virginia Merritt and her family plus neices and nephews.
Heartfelt thanks to all the special people that provided Jeff’s care and support during his journey with cancer.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 18 at Holy Family Catholic Church at 9800 Baymeadows Road, Jacksonville, Florida attended by Father Philip Mayer.
The family will attend his internment at the Jacksonville Veterans National Cemetery following the Mass.
