Born on December 26, 1946 in Arkansas, James lived in Jacksonville,
FL and retired from the US Navy having served 20 years.
Survivors include, Michelle (Missie) Lee Roth (daughter), Matthew Ryan Roth
(Grandson), James Herman Boatman (son),Kierra Boatman (granddaughter),
Martha Lucille Boatman-Thalman (sister), Step children, Debbie Ann Howell,
Sherry Gale Newman, Robert Charles VanHorn (Bobby).
James was preceded in death by, Herman Francis Boatman (father), Martha Lee Miton-Boatman,
Clara Gale Boatman-Schlosser (sister), Corinne (Connie) Boatman (sister).
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00am Monday, July 31, 2017 at Chapel Hills Memory
Gardens, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32225. Relative and
friends are welcomed.
