Isabelle Fusco

FUSCO, Isabelle Fusco, 86, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior Sunday, June 17, 2007 following a brief illness. She was born in Bronx, N.Y. and moved to Jacksonville in 1969. She was an active member of Christ the King Parish and was the founding director of Christ the King Day Care Center. Isabelle was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Benjamin Fusco; her beloved son, James Joseph Fusco; and grandson, Eric Joseph McClellan. Isabelle leaves 4 daughters behind to cherish her memory: Mary Ann (Jim) McLeod, Linda (Don) Podany, Susan (Mark) Fisher and Catherine McClellan. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 step grandson and 2 step great grandchildren. A Prayer Vigil will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 20 at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd.. The family will receive friends and visitors from 5:30 until 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will celebrate her life on Thursday, June 21 at 10:00 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church with Fr. Joe McDonnell, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
