Ina Mae(Macy) Chemente, born April 4, 1940 in High Springs Florida went home to be with her Savior early Sunday morning of March 3rd, 2024. She went peacefully at her home with her Husband by her side.
She was proceeded in death by her loving Parents, 11 Siblings, and a Stepdaughter. Ina is survived by her Husband John Chemente; son, Bruce Ames; two daughters, April (Candy) Ames, and Karey Baessler; stepchildren; Sandra Toole, Nancy Marie Foshee and Jon Paul Chemente; as well as in her own word's “numerus” grandchildren and great grandchildren, nephew and nieces. Her sisters; Dorthy (Dot) Brightwell, Imojean (Jean) Varnes, and Brother Jackie and wife Francies Goolsby.
Ina loved her Lord first and foremost, family, friends and life. She would always be on the go, having fun along the way. She worked hard to overcome hardships as a child but if you ever heard her stories, you would know, that was some of her fondest memories, especially working and playing on the farm with her parents and siblings. As she became an adult, Ina put her all into making sure her children had a good life, working hard to put herself through college, to become a Dental Hygienist and later she became an Entrepreneur in Real Estate, which she really enjoyed.
Ina loved her horses, camping, thrift store shopping, family reunions, traveling with friends and dressing up, especially for the Friday night dances. Her greatest joy in life was helping others, she would take in anyone in need and would love them unconditionally, treating them like family. Ina kept her family and friends dear to her heart as she will always be in our hearts forever.
