Casey graduated from Terry Parker High School in 1990 and earned his BS from Liberty University. He touched many lives as a teacher, youth pastor, and pastor. He loved helping people during his time as a pre-arrangement advisor at the National Cremation Society.
Casey was a true man of God who lived a life devoted to Jesus. His positivity and energy were contagious. He enjoyed adventures with his wife. They were truly soul mates, and he loved and cherished Tami well. On a Saturday in the fall, you could catch him rooting for his Georgia Bull Dogs, Florida State Seminoles, or Ohio State Buckeyes. He loved going to the beach and being out in nature.
Casey will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 24 years Tami Zipperer (Wood), his mother, Beverly Zipperer (Solomon), his brother, Travis Zipperer, his in-laws, Larry and Sonja Wood, his step grandmother, Nita Zipperer, and aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, nephews, and nieces. Casey was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Zipperer, and his grandparents, Virginia and Jack Solomon, and Roy and Oveda Zipperer.
Casey’s passion and enthusiasm for life will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home at 850 St. Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225. The family will receive friends and family at 1:00 p.m.
