Homer Thurston Walton Jr. of Jacksonville died Tuesday, January 22, 2013. Born in Jacksonville March 18, 1926 to Homer and Lucile Walton Sr., he graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in 1944 and attended Jacksonville University. Homer served in the U.S. Army in Europe during WWII. He retired as Comptroller for Tom Neil Truck Company. He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Maxine Masters Walton, and is survived by two daughters, Linda Williamson and Lorraine Moore (Kenneth), a granddaughter, Julie Eck (Chris) and a great-grandson Caleb Eck.
