Prior to retirement he worked for W.W. Gay Mechanical Contractors for 25 years.
He was a member of the Carpenters Union, Local 627 for many years and attended Regency Church of God.
He served his country proudly in the U.S Army in Vietnam where he served two tours of duty.
He was predeceased b his Parents, Henry S II and Annette Wrye,his brother Edwin and his loving daughter,Courtnie Wrye Zucco.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years; Norma Jean Wrye, two daughters Teri Wrye Crapps (Randal) of Fernandina Beach, FL and Kelly Rena Wrye Triliegi of Jacksonville, FL; 4 sisters, Martha Conway, Lynn Green, Jane Spencer and Alison Purvis; 3 grandchildren, Marcus James Trilegi, Kasey Annette Keene and Ashley Nichole Spivey and 2 great-grandchildren, Courtnie Spivey and DaLante Whitehaven.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday November 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Cemetery 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
Those who wish may make contributions to the Leukemia Society of America in honor of Courtnie Ann Wrye Zucco.
