Helen R. Hathaway (Sanford), 89, passed away Aug 2, 2012 with her family at her side. She was born in North Carolina and moved to Jacksonville, FL with her husband and children in 1951. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Joe; children, Joe Jr. and Susan. She was a proud grandmother to Kelli and Kim and a great-grandmother to Andrea and Kyle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 10am on Thursday, August 9 in the Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
